Kenduri Kawin

Baru baru ni aku attend anak sedara aku kawin kat kampong dia. Seperti biasalah, bila dah kenduri ni ramai sedara-mara datang. Dan seperti biasa aku dengan konfiden badak lah menyapa sedara-sedara aku yg aku mmg lupa bangat nama diorang ni. Aku plak dah berpuluh tahun tk jumpa diorang, camana la aku nak ingat nama-nama diorang tu. Abis pangkat makcik aku panggil kakak lah, nenek lah... gelabah puyuh brader. Kena perli la aku, ‘apo kono anak Bang Usop ni, wakden Mak Limah ni di panggilnyo Auntie. Mmg nak kono tapak ni..!’ Padan muka aku, balik kampung dok dalam rumah parents aku je, tknak bercampur sedara mara. (Kejadian yg serupa bila aku balik kampong belah bini aku, aku rasa part2 nak ngat nama orang ni aku memang lembap lah..)

Anyway, suasana kampung tu mmg tk dinafikan membawa aku balik ke zaman aku budak2 dulu. Group memasak digelar ‘Penanggah’. Jangan tanya aku apo bondo eh tu, yg aku tau kalau aku join group tu, mmg busuk bau daging lapah lah badan. Selalunya aku dulu volunteer jadi tukang hidang lauk. Bukannya apa, boleh la aku kenen2 anak Mak Timah yg cun melecun tu heheh.. Nasib baik tk jadi bini aku, badan dah macam tong drum anak masuk 5... pehhh..!

So before balik tu, aku pekena cendol favourite aku masa sekolah dulu, and this mamak Bashar has been selling the cendol since I was a boy. Aku tanya dia, banyak dah ke duit jual cendol bang? Mesti boleh pg cuti balik India ke, melancong ke Eropah ke..? Jawapan dia.. korang boleh agak la kan. Anyway, aku mmg baik ngan Abg Bashar ni, and he's doing pretty well with his cendol bussiness. Aku rasa dah banyak cawangan dia dah bukak kat area N9 ni. Btw, BMI tu nama dia, Bashar Mohamed I(ntah apa aku lupa), bukan Body Mass Index.

Another Bloopers.?

This is my honest opinion and my opinion alone...

Ah.. here we go again. Malaysian football. It is not surprising to see our team languishing at 147th placing according to FIFA standings. It seems that we never learned from mistakes. We keep on blaming the coach, the players the managers. When someone mentioned in a post cabinet that the whole management needed to be revamped, certain individuals started MELATAH, as usual typical Melayu character. The best part was when Raja Ahmad even suggested to hire foreigners like the France national team. Duh..? France was once a conquerer, many African countries are still under their influence, be it cultural, language or currencies. Oh yes, the Japanese had one Brazilian, or the Singaporean team as well. So what. It never occurs to them that its the politician that screws things up. I would like to draw your attention that before the inaugural World Cup, FIFA almost ruled Greece out of the European 2008 competition due to the government interference with its football administration. And us? Recently the Selangor MB decided to disband the whole Selangor team leaving 2-3 seniors. He must be a very wise guy and pretty learned in football issue.

Just leave the professional run the FAM like the SRAM or bowlings (oh yes, the games are less popular and so does the political mileage). The politicians can start concentrating on their core bussiness looking after responsibilities as wakil rakyat. We have so many sissues to worry about; terrorist, violence, tragedies, disasters, corruptions, yada yada yada.. Or if they want to be around, walk the talk. Not the other way around. How I wish to hear our national anthem being played in a world cup competition....

Trip to Butterworth

On my arrival in Bworth, I hopped in the oldest bus service in town, the crazy adrenalin pumping UTC bus. The red box is where the passenger stuffs the fares in. Not only coins, but notes too. It may not be a ride in a MiG-29, but pretty close, pretty close. Bugg
er!

Kedai Makcik, my favourite for its famous lauk kampung in Bagan. Ask any folks here, theyll show you the way. The stall didnt look convincing, but the food is. I dont think Jalan2 Cari Makan would come here, but what the heck, she goes only for some fancy modern restaurant. She looks pretty overweight too, perhaps for being too long indulging in that lousy food tasting program I guess..

A friend of mine with his newly acquired car giving me a lift to the bus station on my way back to KL. Perhaps I should get one for my other half. Yeah rite, bayar with my bulu kaki!!

On my way home. I remember the 1st time I came to Bworth 22 yrs ago by train. The train station doesnt look different after all these years.
